I have to have a way to pay the bills to keep Badger Foodie going.  In order to do this, I utilize a variety of funding streams.  I do want to make it very clear that I will not let a sponsorship, advertising relationship, or affiliate payment affect my opinion of a product, service, or restaurant.

Sponsorship

I will accept selected sponsorship to review a particular product, service or restaurant.  If I receive an unsolicited  product, service, or gift certificate/card, it does not guarantee that I will review the product, service, or restaurant.  If I do review the product, service, or restaurant I will clearly disclose the sponsorship at the top of the blog post.

My opinion of the product, service, or restaurant will not be influenced positively or negatively by the sponsorship.  The sponsorship may cause me to review a product, service, or restaurant, that without the sponsorship I would have never tried or reviewed on Badger Foodie.

Advertising Relationship

I may decide to include advertisements on Badger Foodie.  At this time I do not have any advertising on Badger Foodie.  This section will be updated if I start entering into relationships with brands for advertising on Badger Foodie.

If I have an advertising relationship with a product, service, or restaurant that I discuss on Badger Foodie, at the time I post about the product, service, or restaurant, I will disclose the advertising relationship at the top of the blog post.

Affiliate Links

Some posts on Badger Foodie may include links to vendors, where if a purchase is made, a small percentage or fixed amount of the sale is paid to Badger Foodie.  An example would be a link to a Kitchen Aid Mixer on Amazon.com.  If you were to click on that link and buy something from Amazon, I would get a small percentage of the sale in return for sending you to Amazon.com.  There is no additional cost passed on to the consumer for this payment.

My opinion of the product, service, or restaurant will not be influenced positively or negatively by the affiliate relationship.  The affiliate relationship may cause me to review a product, service, or restaurant, that without the affiliate relationship I would have never tried or reviewed on Badger Foodie.

If a post has affiliate links in it, I will disclose this fact on the top of the post.
